Management buys Modulo

Modulo Systems announced that it has been purchased by its founder, Lee Silverman, and an investment group. The company said it would continue to distribute QPS, QuarkXPress and other products and continue operations without interruption.

Modulo said the change of ownership better positions the company to adapt to changing market forces and to continue to serve the enterprise publishing market with support, product distribution and added functionality through QPS Xtension technology and supplemental applications.

Modulo said its future strategy is to grow its product base to cover all stages in the publishing value chain.

“We realize in this tight economy our customers want to maximize their QPS investment,” said Ron Stalman, Modulo’s market development manager. “Modulo will continue to be a leading custom application developer and technical supporter for QPS. We will provide additional marketing and sales support to our system integration partners.”
