2AdPro, SCS team for Scripps

Ad production firm 2AdPro integrated its JobDirect software with Software Consulting Services’ SCS/Track ad production app, enabling E.W. Scripps’ Treasure Coast Newspapers unit to begin allocating a portion of its in-house ad production to the outsourcing vendor.

User interface

TCN, which publishes a number of south Florida papers including the Stuart News and the Press Journal in Vero Beach, is now shipping 50 percent of its ad production to 2AdPro, which maintains production offices in Bangalore and Chennai, India.

TCN workers access 2AdPro’s JobDirect software through an interface with SCS/Track. Last year, 2AdPro engineered a similar link with ad production software developed by Database Publishing Systems, and last month it announced its JobDirect software would also work with ad production software from Atex (see Dateline, March 31, 2008).

Venture support

Meantime, 2AdPro said it received an undisclosed amount of financing from an Indian venture firm, VenturEast. The company said it will use the funds to accelerate its international expansion and launch new services.
