The Bismarck (N.D.) Tribune purchased Managing Editor Inc.’s Innovative Ads module to bolster its existing Page Director ad layout system. Innovative Ads manages complex, polygonal and multi-layer ads within ALS, MEI said. The Tribune previously used a manual ad layout process, according to advertising sales manager Kristin Wilson.

 

Meantime, MEI said Gannett Pacific Publishing purchased the SoftCare K4 Publishing System. The Arizona-based group produces a variety of specialty publications.
