WAN-IFRA’s 2018 Digital Media North America conference (#DMNA18), taking place June 26-27 in New York City, will provide an opportunity for media executives to hear how leading news media companies around the world are innovating and succeeding in converting and retaining digital subscribers, WAN-IFRA says.

Speakers include Phillip Crawley, publisher and CEO, The Globe and Mail, Canada, who will explain how Canada’s leading newspaper has successfully pivoted towards digital reader revenue by investing in technology and placing quality journalism at the center of its strategy; Christy Tanner, executive vice president, CBS News Digital, whowill explain how CBS News is engaging with users across platforms and increasing viewership through CBSN; and Paul Fichtenbaum, chief content officer, The Athletic, whoheads the company’s content strategy and will talk about its exponential growth.
